Information we collect

• Your name and email address. These are used to set up your student account and to sign you in.
• Optional profile information, such as your phone number and country, when you choose to provide it.
• Course enrolment and access records. We keep a record of which courses your account can access and when that access was granted.
• Learning activity. This includes your lesson progress, your overall course progress and video playback activity, so that your place in a course is saved and your progress is shown correctly.
• Basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, which any website receives automatically when it is visited.

How we use your information

• To give you access to the courses you are enrolled in.
• To save your progress as you move through a course.
• To send you emails about your account and your course access.
• To keep accounts secure, prevent misuse and support you when you contact us.
• To understand which lessons are working well so that we can improve our courses.

Cookies and staying signed in

We use cookies that are necessary for the website to work. These are authentication and session cookies. They keep you signed in securely and remember your session as you move between pages. Without them you would need to sign in again on every page.

We do not currently use advertising cookies, analytics trackers or tracking pixels on this website. If that ever changes, we will update this policy before those tools are introduced.

Course videos

Lessons are delivered using YouTube privacy enhanced embeds through youtube-nocookie.com. This player is designed not to set tracking cookies until you choose to play a video.

When a video loads, YouTube may receive technical information such as your IP address and details about your device and browser. That information is received and handled by YouTube under its own privacy policy, not by Nexaura Academy.

Payments

Enrolment is not open yet. When it opens, payments will be handled by an independent payment provider at checkout.

Nexaura Academy does not collect, process or store your card or bank details. We never see your full card number.

Payment providers process payment information under their own privacy policies and security standards. We recommend reading the policy shown by the provider at checkout before completing a purchase.

Communications

We send emails that relate to your account, such as password reset links and instructions for reaching your course. These are necessary for the service to work, so they are not marketing messages.

We may also send occasional updates about a course you are enrolled in. If we introduce marketing emails, we will include a clear way to unsubscribe.

Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Your account is protected by password authentication, and course content is protected by access rules that limit each student to the courses they are actually enrolled in.

No website or online service can promise perfect security, so we do not claim that your information is completely secure. Please choose a strong password, keep it private, and tell us if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is wrong, incomplete or out of date.
• Delete your personal information, where we are not required to keep it for legal or accounting reasons.
• Explain how your information is used, or withdraw consent that you previously gave.
